OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR / RECEPTIONIST

Part Time (Weekends)

We’re seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual who will be customer facing with excellent customer service and organizational skills. You need to be proactive and able to focus no matter what is going on around you. You will be the first point of contact for many of our clients so it is essential that you’re smart and presentable.

The role will involve administration jobs such as filing and photocopying; collating management information; meeting and greeting clients; dealing with enquiries over the phone and face-to-face; making a limited number of sales calls; client order management and error checking; as well as adhoc tasks such promotional emails and texts. If you enjoy a varied role that will certainly keep you busy then this is the job for you!

Candidates should be able to work weekends – both Saturday and Sunday. If you can’t work every weekend that’s fine – this may be a job where we’ll combine a couple of staff working alternate shifts. Alternatively, if you can work every weekend – even better!! Pay starts from £8.00 per hour. It is preferable you live in close proximity to the studio and if you have car to commute that’s perfect. The studio is not easily accessible via public transport.

 

SALES / LEAD GENERATOR

Part Time (Shift Work)

We’re seeking experienced lead generators, canvassers or researchers to hit the ground running. A friendly, cheerful, bubbly personality is essential. You CANNOT be afraid to start a conversation with people you meet in the street. We seek both mature and younger applicants to engage with all the different types of clients who visit our studio. If you love talking with people and want to earn an income from doing so, this is the job for you!

The role involves travelling to various local high streets and parks, health clubs, local fairs and community events to talk with people and spread the word about Photographic Synergy. It’s all about getting those people you meet excited about what we do at Photographic Synergy, and convert that interest into a lead and booking so they can come and experience a photo shoot with us!

Candidates should be seeking part time work, up to 20 hours per week in shifts of 4-5 hours per shift. If you’re flexible with working hours then we return the flexibility around your calendar and family life. We must collect leads at different times during the week and weekend to best capture different audiences and different locations. This could mean morning, afternoon or early evening shifts. Pay depends on experience and results, and will vary from £10.00 – £15.00 per hour. We’re willing to pay a premium to recruit and retain good staff who get good results. It is preferable you live in close proximity to the studio, and must have your own car and driving license to be considered for this job.

 

SALES / TELESALES PROFESSIONAL

Part Time (Shift Work)

We’re seeking experienced sales and telesales staff with a bubbly and positive nature who can keep themselves motivated. You should be proactive and focused around calling prospects and converting them into bookings for our photo studio. If this sounds like it will give you a buzz and sense of achievement then you’re the person for us!

We do not employ hard sales tactics, but instead prefer to be honest. We treat every call like a personal conversation building rapport and really engaging with prospects. We want clients to come and enjoy their experience, then love the photographs so much they have to spend with us. Only then will they go away and tell others – so they and their friends come back to us again and again.

Candidates should be seeking part time work, up to 20 hours per week in shifts of 4-5 hours per shift. If you’re flexible with working hours then we return the flexibility around your calendar and family life, especially useful if you’re working around school time. Pay will depend upon experience and results but will vary in the range of £8.50 – £15.00 per hour. We are great believers in paying good people for good results. Close proximity to our studio is preferable but you can access the studio easily if you drive. Using public transport is not so easy. If you can self motivate and work towards daily targets then this job could suit you down to the ground, especially if you need it to work around other commitments.

 

POST PRODUCTION ASSISTANT / DIGITAL ARTIST

Part Time (Freelance Basis)

We’re seeking experienced and enthusiastic individuals with the ability to prepare images for sales viewings and create clients final artwork to a high standard (i.e. prior digital artist or retouching experience). This is a technical and artistic job that requires a good knowledge if software and photography. You will need to liaise with photographer, client and suppliers. You should have good time management skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and composition. We’re searching for someone with a self-motivated, hardworking and positive ‘can do’ attitude.

We aim for natural, not visually doctored imagery. Previous photographic studio experience can be beneficial. You will require a good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Advanced Photoshop knowledge of histograms, lasso, cloning, layers & masks will be a huge benefit. You should have the ability to work fast with a high volume of images – resizing, cropping & retouching to hit deadlines. You will be responsible for maintaining high quality assurance standards across all our finished artwork and we expect you to constantly seek out improvements we can adopt within our software and approach.

Candidates will be considered on a freelance part time basis, working flexible daily hours that may involve weekends. Pay will vary between £8-£12 per hour depending on experience and results. Close proximity to our studio is preferable, or if you’re within easy commuting distance will be fine. However, using public transport is not so easy so you should have your own car and driving license.

 

STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHER

Part Time (Freelance Basis)

We’re seeking recruitment of an experienced studio or portrait photographers with a knowledge of studio operations, lighting, cameras and photography equipment. You will need lots of energy and a good eye for detail and composition. We consider both graduates and also those who have worked in the industry and built experience. We want applicants with a practical knowledge of photography not just the theory. You will require excellent interpersonal skills to be able to interact with families and people of all ages and backgrounds. Finally you need the drive and passion to create wonderful photography.

You shall be responsible for managing studio photography sessions and taking an overview of the calendar bookings. You should have a good working knowledge of both Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

Candidates will be considered on a freelance part time basis, which can include week days and weekends, with working hours being between 8:30am and 6:00pm. Flexibility is ideal. Pay will range from £8.00 – £12.00 per hour depending upon experience and results.
